The website of the AGAPE Association (hereinafter the Association) is subject to the Swiss Data Protection Act ( DSGV ), as well as any applicable foreign data protection laws, such as the European Union's (EU) General Data Protection Regulation ( GDPR ). The EU recognizes that Swiss data protection law provides adequate data protection.
The following data protection declaration informs you of the type, content, and purpose of the collection and use of personal data (hereinafter "data") by the operator within the association's online offering and the associated website.
Definitions of some terms used (From Art. 3 LPD )

If you send us a contact request using the contact form, the data entered in the form, including the contact information you provide, will be stored by the Association in order to process your request. This data will not be shared with anyone else without your consent.
If the required fields are not completed, we cannot guarantee the provision of our services. Providing additional information is optional and does not affect the use of our website.
This collected data serves our legitimate interest in data processing pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR, which allows the processing of data necessary for the performance of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.
Data collection on our website
Access data (server log files)
When you visit our website, our servers temporarily store every access in a server log file. The following data is collected without any action on your part and stored for a maximum of twelve months, until it is automatically deleted:
the IP address of the requesting computer
the date and time of access
the name and URL of the retrieved file
the website from which the access took place
the computer's operating system and browser used by the user
the country from which the access took place and the language settings of the user's browser
the name of the user's Internet access provider
This data is not combined with other data sources. Data collection and processing are intended to enable the use of our website (to establish a connection) and to ensure long-term system security and stability. The IP address is used to determine the country of origin of the website visitor so that the website language can be set accordingly. Furthermore, the IP address is analyzed for statistical purposes in the event of attacks on the www.agapeticino.com network infrastructure.

Retention of personal data
We retain your personal data in personalized format for the time necessary to achieve the purpose for which we collected it; in the case of contracts, this is generally for the entire duration of the contractual relationship. We also retain personal data when we have a legitimate interest in retaining it. This is particularly the case when we need the personal data to assert our claims or defend ourselves against claims of others, for archiving purposes, and to ensure IT security. Furthermore, we also retain your data for as long as there is a legal retention obligation.

You can exercise the above-mentioned rights (information, deletion, or revocation) by sending a request via email to the responsible body indicated above.
You are also free to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority about how we process your personal data if you believe that the processing of your data violates applicable law.
Changes to this data protection declaration
This Privacy Policy may be updated over time, particularly if our data processing practices change or new legal provisions come into force. Generally, the current version of the Privacy Policy in effect at the time of processing applies to data processing.
